Personal training with Julie Newbry
Julie Newbry is a certified personal trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine, with additional certifications through personal fitness systems, and certified as a GGS level 1 Coach. She has continuing education as a NASM fitness nutrition specialist and NASM corrective exercise specialist, body image work and is eating disorder informed.
Julie works with her clients within the framework of HAES, Intuitive Eating, and Body Positivity. She is passionate about helping her clients develop body trust through movement and in helping eliminate shame from moving our bodies. She knows the struggle of learning to be intuitive with movement and eating, and has overcome many of the challenges that come with chronic dieting and loves supporting and helping her clients overcome those challenges as well.
GROUP & Private 1 on 1 training sessions
Who are these sessions for?: Personal training sessions are for anyone at any level who is interested in learning more about moving in safe and effective ways. Some of the goals past and current clients have worked on are building strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, knowledge of gym equipment, body weight exercises, at home programs, and running/walking programs.
